How are cultural beliefs and practices acquired and transmitted? How does cultural experience shape the brain? Led by Principal Investigator Dr. Elizabeth Losin, at SCN Lab we believe in utilizing an interdisciplinary approach to understanding the brain and culture. Using modern neuroimaging, we believe that this approach to the study of culture has the potential to refine and expand our understanding of the human mind, as well as offer solutions to real-world problems in diverse areas such as healthcare.
